Full IPG members will receive:
- Inclusion in our client facing directory
- Access to our online legal documents, guidelines and articles
- Use of the initials “IPG” after your name on all platforms
- Use of our logo on websites/ social media platforms
- Free/ discounted attendance at IPG-run masterclasses
- Trade partner discounts
To maintain in the IPG Registry, Members agree to undertake at least 10 hours of annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) relating to their work as an IC. They will be required to submit evidence of this to the Committee.
Full IPG members must have:
- At least 3 professional credits working as the primary (or only) IC or ID in film, television or live performance in the Europe
- Previous qualification in movement, directing and/or acting or equivalent
- Professional experience in film, television and/or live performance
- Police background check
Full IPG members must demonstrate that they have undertaken the following training:
- Mental Health First Aider
- Consent
- Anti-Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Bullying
- LGBTQIA+ Awareness
- Diversity and Equality Awareness
- Conflict Resolution/problem solving
It is desirable that members have:
- Bystander Intervention training
Full IPG members must have additional knowledge and understanding of:
- Movement and Choreography
- Use of modesty garments and barriers
- Use of intimacy protocols
- Understanding of either On-Set or Stage etiquette, as appropriate
The Applicant will provide:
- A CV and a cover letter
- A minimum of two reference letters from the Producer/ Director/ 1st AD/ Actor from two different CV credits the prospective member is using to establish membership (stage and/or screen)
Annual fee – full membership: £50 / €60
Meeting the above criteria does not guarantee membership and applications will be reviewed by the Committee. In exceptional circumstances the Committee may choose to accept members who do not meet the strict criteria above.
